Exquisite vintage Callaghan jacket, from Fall/Winter 1988, designed by Romeo Gigli. This stunning piece comes in a burgundy viscose and features a muted, blackened gold metallic thread damask jacquard throughout. If you look closely, you'll find a figural scenic within the damask that is otherworldly and unusual. The metallic jacquard, while a muted, blackened gold, appears bronze or silver in varying lights and is absolutely fantastic. Remarkable tailoring extends through this rare blazer, with a light, softly padded shoulder that adds an incredible structure and fit. Button up front closure, and buttons at cuffs. Wide patch pocket at each hip. Vent at backside. Fully lined in a grey cotton flannel. Completely lovely!
