Lovers and co-collaborators Brooke Bailey and Johnny Wiskerchen are the creative minds behind Santa Monica’s vintage destination, Carny Couture.

For as long as she can remember, Bailey has been a gatherer—finding joy in the act of collecting and holding space for found objects. Carny Couture is both the reflection of Bailey’s curatorial instincts as well as her finely-tuned eye; where timeless design and effortless style meet amongst a mixing of the eras. Together, the couple is a true definition of yin and yang. Their creative differences complement one another and their shared commitment to sustainability, art, and self-expression is what makes their curation so special.

Carny Couture offers an expansive selection of designer and antique clothing—think Romeo Gigli and Gianfranco Ferre, Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake—and much, much more. In addition, they also offer an edited accessories collection featuring vintage jewelry [pendants, rings, earrings] and neck scarfs [Gucci, Hermès] as well as belts, hats, and designer handbags. All of Carny Couture’s offerings are hand picked by Bailey through a labor-of-love, reflecting not only her elevated taste but a true commitment to sustainable fashion—delighting in making the old new again.
