Potts, now based in New York, is originally from New Mexico where her love for treasure hunting initially began. As a child, she would roam the grounds of her grandparent’s ranch, digging up old fragments of pottery and silver quartz beneath the earth’s crust. Potts went on to study History and Silversmithing in college, [later also becoming a certified Goldsmith and Bench Jeweler] combining her love for storytelling with tactile creativity. The collection that Potts has curated at The Moonstoned offers everything from vintage charms [like a Victorian Era lucky clover locket or a 24 karat gold nugget from the early 1900s] to necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Every piece in Pott’s collection is well-researched, authenticated and intended to spark timeless confidence and joy in its wearer. In addition to the expert vintage jewelry curation at The Moonstoned, Potts also designs an in-house line composed solely of reclaimed elements and post-consumer stones.
