display copy in print

Between 2020 and 2025, Display Copy released three limited-edition print volumes dedicated to showcasing and elevating vintage and upcycled fashion. Each edition served as a tactile expression of the project’s core ethos: that sustainable fashion can be as expressive, aspirational, and forward-looking as any luxury publication.

Created in response to the environmental and waste crises, Display Copy rejected the systems of overproduction that dominate the fashion industry. Instead, its pages celebrated what already exists — highlighting exceptional vintage, thrifted, and remade garments through editorial collaborations with leading photographers, stylists, and models.

The print editions advanced a vision of fashion that is circular, inclusive, and emotionally resonant. Rather than framing sustainability as sacrifice, Display Copy offered it as a creative and cultural opportunity: a chance to reimagine value, authorship, and beauty itself.

Though no longer in active circulation, the print volumes remain a testament to the power of fashion as both art form and agent of change.
