When did you first start employing the process of upcycling in your work_

When we were in lockdown due to COVID-19 and I had to create a collection from scratch, I used what I had at home.

What materials do you use in your work_

Very different pieces of fabric, paper, crinoline, various cotton or wool yarns.

How does the process of upcycling inform/influence your work_

I like the idea of ​​giving new life to material that is no longer used, creating innovative and interesting textiles.

What role does the process of upcycling play in the fashion industry today? What about in the future? How do you see the craft evolving_

I believe that fashion is evolving more and more. Maybe it happened too late but in recent years fashion is trying to change, it is much more sensitive in terms of upcycling. I’m optimistic.

What is the role of the designer in these times_

Bringing others into a different dimension than usual, transmitting something even for a single moment. Send a message, say, raise awareness on certain topics. Realize your vision to give it to others.

What advice would you give other young designers_

It’s essential to always listen within ourselves, we are a gift.
