A forever classic. Slim and simple, tuxedo details, oversized collars, short sleeves in the summer, double breasted buttons or that quintessential boyfriend fit, you can never have too many button down shirts. 

No decade does white shirts better than the 1990s, but also search for men's shirts from the early 1900s-1940s, and look to the 1980s for oversized details like big collars and puffy sleeves to add drama to a classic.
