THE DENIM JACKET

THE DENIM JACKET

The all American classic. Designed in 1880 by Levi Strauss the Denim Jacket has evolved from a classic cut into endless iterations, from chore and work jackets, to cropped and feminine or oversized bombers. Whatever shape works for you it has a place in every wardrobe.

An original Levi denim jacket is still a fail safe, find deadstock styles from the 1960s or slouchy worn in denim jackets from the 1980s and 1990s. You can also find crisp 1960s and 1970s deadstock denim jackets from Lee and Wrangler, like the timeless Lee Rider jacket. Look to the 1990s for more cropped and minimal shapes from Calvin Klein and the like.
