THE SILK TANK
Slip it on, worn loose and barely there, a Silk Tank is perfect for Summer night or Summer strolls. A piece that was historically designed as an intimate is now an indispensable item for any wardrobe.
I look for silk camisoles with spaghetti straps, from antiques to the 1930s for simple styles with square necklines. The 1970s for a lace trimmed lingerie look, or I’ll jump to the 1990s to early 2000s for cowl necks, plunging V’s, bright colors, floral prints, and sheer inserts.
